Superior Trap &: Gun Club Meeting

Call to Order

Kirk Krause, President, called the meeting to order at 6:45 PM.

Approval of July 13, 2010 Minutes

A motion was made by Doug Vana and seconded by Wayne Johnstad to approve the minutes of the July 13, 2010 meeting. Motion carried. There was no meeting held in August as there was no quorum present. A motion was made by Doug Vana and seconded by Jerry Bolin to approve the minutes of the September 10, 2010 meeting. Motion carried.

Treasurer's Report

The Treasurer's report was presented &: filed as follows:

Checking & Savings: $17,258.96 -- Junior Shooters: $1,423.37 --

Total Cash on Hand: $18,682.33 August

Checking & Savings: $17,104.12 -- Junior Shooters: $1,185.90 --

Total Cash on Hand: $18,290.02 July

Old Business

Lead Reclamation: Wayne Johnstad suggested that we keep the field mowed and cared for. It was suggested that the field be sprayed and then burnt off and that this begin in the spring. Discussion concerning lead reclamation has been tabled until February.

Splatter Board: Dennis Doherty and Larry Brooke will work on the construction of the splatter board. Dennis will get some posts in. Doug commented that we need some fill.

Garage Siding: A brief discussion took place concerning siding the garage. There was mention that there was a need to replace the buffalo board and then put on siding. This would begin in early spring as well.

New Business

2011 Budget Committee: Kirk Krause will contact Ed Abrahamzon for the 2011 budget committee meeting. Members on the committee are Ed Abrahamzon, Cindy Gronski, Pat Martineau, Kirk Krause and Larry Brooke.

Lights on Field 2: Jim Klinge has poles and lights for field two. Kirk Krause will contact Jim Kling and report back at the next meeting.

Trap Help: It will be necessary to see if we can get pullers for the winter league. A brief discussion took place concerning checking with the Boys and Girl Scout Association to see if any of those youth would be interested in pulling and marking. Kirk Krause will contact Ron Krause for further information and report back at the next meeting.

Tables & Parking Lot Clean-up: Wayne Johnstad suggested that interested members come and help clean up the area prior to the meeting in October.

Targets: Travis Krause counted the targets we currently have on hand. The club has 646 cases and we should be able to get through the winter season with our current stock on hand. It will be necessary to purchase targets for the summer season.

A motion was made by Doug Vana and seconded by Wayne Johnstad to adjourn the meeting. Meeting adjourned at 7:40 PM.
